Multi-Locking System for French Doors

Multi-lock System for French Door - Security LockThe STV-Systematics provides reliable function and the strength of a high security entrance door lock.

Also for double sash swinging doors, the STV locking mechanism provides high security and smooth operating.

  1. Solid brass hooks with locking behind the frame keep rail. The mighty STV Locking hooks are made of forged brass and engage not only into the keeps but also lock from behind the frame keep rail. This is an important security feature which greatly hinders the pulling apart of the the door from its frame, especially when adjacent to a side panel.
  2. Continuous frame keep rail. The continuous keep rail ensures operating forces equally distributed over the full length of the keep. Being continuous, the keep rail is also easily fitted and enhances the rigidity of the frame. Provided in different colours any door design can be easily matched.
  3. Secure locking mechanism. High load sintered metal gears help ensure a long service life. In the locked position the mechanism is blocked in two modes, the hook bolts are securely locked and cannot be forced back, either singularly or together. Regardless of the lock being lever or key operated it can only be released by unlocking the cylinder with the appropriate key.
  4. Steel latch and dead bolt. Both the latch and dead bolt are made from nickel steel and give the STV lock the maximum strength in the centre of the door.
  5. Compression adjustment in the keeps. Together with the specially tapered hook shape the compression adjustment in the keeps provides for low operation forces. It is possible to adjust for misalignment of the door during and after installation.
  6. Easy key insertion. The mechanical construction of the STV ensures that no internal pressure acts upon the cylinder cam in the locking position. It is therefore, always easy to insert the key into the cylinder.

No need to bend down or dimb on a chair. At the front or the back of the house, STV provides the security (7) for double sash swinging doors with smooth operating forces via "true" French door operation with handle sets on both sides(6).

Basic security. 8mm thick shoot bolts keep (7) the slave door tight whilst 2 or optionally 4 hooks and deadbolt are fired into the keep on the false mullion (8) to provide the first security step for this type of door system. The active lock's face plate is available as a full length rail.

Additional security. 8 mm thick shoot bolts on slave door and additionally on the active door sash guarantee absolute secure alignment.

Security and comfort for all door types. 2 or 4 heavy duty hook bolts (1) bite into the false mullion keeps or the full length keep rail set. They provide maximum security even against heaviest forced entry attack. The compression adjustment (5) in the keels (+/- 2mm) is giving optimum weather seal compression with low operating forces. Different backsets allow usage for timber Upvc and aluminium doors.
